Museo Casa León is a small private museum in Barrio 10 de Agosto, La Libertad, one block from the civic plaza. It was created in 1991 by the painter León Ricaurte and shows pre-Hispanic, colonial and contemporary objects.

Nearby, the Plazoleta Cívica Adalberto Montenegro (opposite Santa Teresita school) has a mural by Ricaurte telling the history of the canton, and the Mirador de La Caleta looks over the bay.
