Skateboarding La Península
The Salinas malecón and La Libertad seafront have the flattest, smoothest pavement on the peninsula — no hills, no cracks, just open concrete.

Where to Skate

The peninsula's flat terrain and paved malecones make it unexpectedly good skating territory.

Spot Notes
Salinas malecón Longest smooth stretch; best before 9am before foot traffic. Flat, wide, well-maintained.
La Libertad malecón / seafront Slightly less polished but also flat; less crowded
Chipipe promenade (Salinas) Quieter end; smooth pavement

There is no dedicated skatepark on the peninsula as of 2025. Street skating on the malecón is informal and generally tolerated. Bring your own board — no rentals available.
