Conditions
- Best time: Early morning (6–8am) before the afternoon wind and heat build
- Temperature: 18–28°C year-round at the coast; cooler and windier in the dry season (Jun–Nov)
- Sun: High UV even on overcast days — run with sunscreen and a hat
- Traffic: Coastal road has vehicle traffic; stick to the malecón pedestrian path where possible
