Slacklining La Península
Trees along the Salinas malecón provide the anchor points — bring your own line and set up between palms on any open beach stretch.

Overview

Slacklining on the Santa Elena Peninsula is informal and self-organized. The Salinas malecón and Chipipe beach area have palm trees and shade structures that can serve as anchor points. Bring your own slackline — there are no commercial providers on the peninsula.

Best spots:

  • Palm trees near the Chipipe end of Salinas malecón — less foot traffic, suitable spacing between trees
  • Any beach with palm trees in low season when crowds thin out

The wind is strong in the afternoon (Jun–Nov) — slacklining is much easier in the morning before wind builds.
