Sandboarding on the Santa Elena Peninsula is informal and not commercially developed. The primary area is the dune system near '''[[Chanduy]]''' — a fishing village south of the main peninsula urban zone.

The dunes near Chanduy form along the coastal strip south of the main conurbation. They are accessible but shift seasonally, so it's worth asking locally (in Chanduy or at the beach) for the best current access point.
