Inline Skating La Península
The Salinas malecón is the best stretch of flat, smooth pavement on the peninsula — 4 km of coastal promenade with no significant hills.
Overview
Inline skating (rollerblading) on the Santa Elena Peninsula is centred on the Salinas malecón, which offers the longest uninterrupted stretch of flat, well-maintained pavement in the area.
Best spots:
- Salinas malecón — 4 km, flat, best before 9am before foot traffic and heat build
- Chipipe promenade — quieter, slightly less perfect pavement
- La Libertad malecón — also flat; slightly less polished
Bring your own skates — no rentals available on the peninsula.
