[[La Rinconada]]'s high coastal cliffs generate consistent thermal and dynamic lift from the onshore Pacific winds, making the headland a known paragliding launch site among experienced coastal pilots. The cliff faces west, the winds are reliable, and the beach below provides a reasonable landing zone.
